Default Masters Touch and Arti Enchants WAI?

Just wondering if this is working correctly.

If an arti puts any enchant on my weapon and afterwards I apply masters touch, the arti's enchant will disappear.

However, if masters touch is applied first then the arti enchants, masters touch will remain, and both will work properly.

It is a minor annoyance while playing my bard, and tbh probably would be like number 1567 on the priority list at this point.

It's working as intended, both buffs are weapon enchantments, only 1 may be active at a time.

Masters touch used to be the only weapon enchantment buff around, the tool tip needs to be updated accordingly

Ie. All the arty weapon enchantment spells now have this written
An item can have only one temporary item enchantment at a time.

Then if the OP is accurate, it's not working as intended, because he described a way to get MT and arti enhnacements to work at the same time. Unless the intention is that applying the buffs in a different order should produce different results (which would be a very strange intention), it's not WAI.

I know that the "1 at a time" rule isn't universal: Insightful Damage/Attack can't be applied together, but one of them can co-exist with elemental/silver/deadly weapons. I'm not sure where MT is supposed to fit into that.

See now if you that was true and you read the OP you would realize that it can't actually possibly be working as
intended (since the order of applying the spells has an effect).

Master's touch should not actually be a weapon enchantment it's just coded that way since it's a lot easier
then coding it the proper way as a buff with a SPECIFIC weapon for which it grants proficiency.

It would be interesting to hear from the dev's on this point since my suspicion would be they haven't really
thought about it but would love to be proved wrong.

I agree it shouldn't be a weapon enchantment, but thats just how it works and nothing really wrong with it for simplicity sake.

I think the Arti spells have additional checks coded in them that removes themselves when the weapons is enchanted again, but masters touch does not. The arti spells need to give a exception to masters touch.
