Upgrading at altar of Insanity BtA to BtC or?

So had some great luck last night pulled some cool stuff/gear running the reign of madness chain.

So the beholder docent & the fleshshapers brigadine are BtA currently. If I upgrade them do they become BtC?

I can't log on right now to double check, but I am almost positive that I upraded the armor and it stayed BtA and did not increase the minimum lvl.

(unlike that wonderful Dreaming Dark armor that my Monk now has bound to him. )

i've swapped an upgraded armor from there to another char (used to be a +10 reflex on my rogue, now it's been passed to my ranger).

I got my Fleshmaker's Brigantine recently (Patch 12.1) and upgraded it. It's BtA even after the upgrade.

Unless Wednesday's Patch 12.2 bugged anything, it should still be BtA when you upgrade yours. I know mine still is.

Ok, my Parasitic Breastplate has the Uncanny Awareness trait added to it and it is Bound to Account and min lvl 14.....just checked to confirm.

Uncanny awareness is an awesome effect for many characters.. got it on my puppy's beholder plate docent & combined with its imp evasion helps to make it awesomely survivable.

I put Melodic Guard on mine, and now realize Uncanny Awareness would have been better.

I don't think so.

But the armors actually have a high drop rate, and I enjoy the series.

Is melodic Guard the one that makes them dance?
I was going to use that on the docent in hopes my Arties pet could wear it.

Yes.

It does not proc very often, and I use it on a bard, who has several other ways to make mobs dance.
