i couldn't do this solo, deathward clicky didn't last long enough and couldn't separate the mobs to beat down the healers. I am on a rogue mind you so that sets me back a bit ...

We ended up doing it with 3. A wizard who died 5 times, an Artificer who kept up CC (disco ball cookies), AoEs and xbow DPS and me who got all the kills going from one to the next mowing them down while the friends were elsewhere.

In retrospect I think I may have been able to get this solo if I'd stuck at it but I don't have that much patience.

Ah, so the cow got his bath.

on a melee I wouldn't bother the elite run, but a Wizard should be able to solo the quest on elite in 3-4 mins, run to end, dot boss, profit. I did this on a PM and didn't even realize I wasn't in form till I was DDooring out to collect my reward.

*the shamans don't arrive and can't heal quick enough to save the boss from niac's and eldar's.

On elite the Seers are red named and enthusiastically heal the chief and we weren't quite coordinated enough to focus all of our damage on the chief to (possibly) overcome the incoming healing.

In the end the chief was one of the last mobs to go down but no worries, it's done now.
Are you on Kyhber? If so, I ran this with you. I was the Arti, But that fight turned it's mob level up to 11 and that's when things got freaking metal! I'm not sure what the hell happened but it was a crazy, epic fight.

When your quest completion time reads three minutes, that's probably reflecting something like a 3:58 second quest completion time. Let's say you pull in 6k XP. At 3 minutes, that's 2K XP/min. At 4 minutes, that's 1500 XP/min. This is a big difference, and it's not reflected in the quest completion time that gets reported.

Add to this fact that you won't always get tossed properly, and you're looking at lots of runs that get closer to the 4-5 minute mark. It averages 1-1.5k XP/min, which doesn't put it at the top of the heap, but makes it well worth repeated runs.
I farmed elite Framework last night at level 15. Our TR group composition: 15 Barb (piked), 15 Monk (piked), another 15 Barb (piked), 14 Favored Soul/1 Barb and 14 Wizard/1 Rogue (me). We had several completion times of 2 minutes and our longest completion was 4 minutes. The higher your Repair skill, the fewer mechanical parts you need to fix the ballista. I had no points in Repair, but a 32 INT for an effective 15 Repair skill (includes Greater Heroism) which requires only 3 mechanical parts. Divine + arcane caster = quick death for the chieftain. We Dimension Door back to the start without looting chests.

Yup, that was me, hope you don't mind the way I told the story, there was possibly some literary license involved. In reality, I wasn't really sure what happened for that epic fight so just looked at the kill count at the end and worked backwards.

Best described as a battle of attrition as we just didn't die and kept pounding them down until everything was dead. Quite entertaining, I'll remember that one for sure. I was sad you didn't make it to adq1 on elite, that was a fun one.

Add Mass Suggestion on everything but the Chieftain to make the end fight easier.
