    That's 4 pieces, not 5, and is definitely not an ideal PM set-up. Losing Demon Consort Bracers for +3 on Web is not very good. 3-piece is pretty nice, but not a big deal.
    +3 Conjuration DC and +3 profane CON are the 5pc bonus effects. There is no 4pc bonus.

    Ring1 - Rakhir's/Sanura's with +3 exceptional INT Rahkir's is better for buss nuking, Sanura's for your healing and Necro nuking.
    You have Superior Lore in your weapon slots. Rakhir's set bonus buys you nothing. Sanura's set is redundant as you'll be using Nihil clickies for 75% damage anyway.

    Goggles - What GS are you wearing for +6 Cha skills? Wiz VI is a waste, and +1 Cha skills isn't too important, and you can get better effects on a Cha +5 item.
    150 SP is all that matters. Why wouldn't you get +6 CHA skills? There's not much else worth crafting.

    Belt -Absolutely not solo-only gear. Very useful getting those neg level and Shaken procs when grouping.
    You're either laying down Web, or your zerging ahead to gather mobs up for a Wail/Circle. Wear the appropriate item for the appropriate situation.

    I use Enervation guard +5 dex skills gloves for my hp item. The extra balance is really nice the guard is awesome and I don't need any other gloves (glacier are really meh for me).

    5 Piece Abishi is a waste of a grind imo.
    +3 conjuration can be done with a dibolist robe on your hooker.
    3 piece is the most you would EVER need with evocation level but not make or break on a wizard.

    I went with gloves as HP on WhatManaBar. Boots as SP so I can go into lich form, blur, exp retreat, jump, extend rage and haste, then swap to TOD boots and I am good to go. That's the only time I ever take them off.

    The gloves of glacier are mehhh... good when you first have a caster nuking but after awhile you just use dots and don't spend as much mana with dumping polar rays and stuff. Some people like the spearblock gloves but you can make an Epic Ring of the Mire easier than you can loot those gloves and are way better cuz the stoneskin procs on them an awful lot.

    Bracers are going to want to be saved for Demon Consort or Glacier for spell pen and archmagi till you can make the Epic Shaman's Band.

    Goggles aren't a good slot for HP cuz the Epic Spectacles of Spirit sight are fantastic until you can make an Epic Staff of Inner Sight... and I know how you feel about running Abbott for the Staff.

    Cloak is an option but I absolutely LOVE the Epic Envenomed Cloak... +7 con and +5 resist with a green slot is incredible.

    I either terribly misread/counted, or you edited the post. I missed an item there in your 5-piece list. I know there is no 4-piece set bonus. The +3 Con is pretty unnecessary, and again, not worth what you're giving up in the bracers slot.

    In practice, I find that I'm often either nuking a bit while in my CC set-up (Staff of Inner Sight) or CCing in my nuking set-up (Epic Greenblade and Epic CC dagger), so having Rahkir's is useful in some of those situations. I will also note that I haven't fully adjusted to the options alchemical crafting presents, but will point out that Rahkir's and Greater Arcane Lore (and Superior Potency/Efficacy) are still useful for things like Disintegration.

    There is. Enervation Guard, Concordant Opposition, Tempered (less so), a few of the helpelss on guard effects. Versus what? Air Guard or Greater Disruption Guard? Seems like something of a waste to me. If you're going to use the slot, why not get as much into as you can? Blindness Immunity does more for you on tier I than Wiz VI does, and is about even with +1 Cha skills.

    There's a lot of in between there. And honestly, I very, very rarely use Web these days. While it may be cheaper than Mass Hold, the latter works a lot better if you aren't Wailing for some reason, such as on orange-named mobs. I have Web, and use it, but it's definitely not my go-to.
