XP Pot

Didnt know if anyone else has had this issue or if I did not see it in known issues. I have a very odd thing going on with one of my TR toons I drink a 30% xp boost pot and it turns into a 5% boost not only on the bar along the top of the screen and in the character inspetion portion but its not just a display issue, its also only applying 5% when I complete quests. I know for a fact because I have 2 TRed toons both lvl 5 working on six and run them through the same quests. Today I completed STK on elite and didnt recieve the same xp on both toons I have voice, 4% ship buff then a 30% pot. No such 5% bonus is even known to me on a pot, really annoying to spend money to buy something and it doesnt work as intended. I submitted a bug ticket got a generic pls contact turbine at this address, in the mean time im losing xp, and wasted a lot of Turbine points.

I'd bug report it and send an e-mail to the store/account people. Those 30% pots aren't cheap, and if they're not working you should get a refund.

I haven't personally noticed this, but I drank my 30% pot a few weeks ago and haven't used one since.

I've noticed this on a lesser (10%) that I won in a lottery. Can't verify if it was just a display bug or was only actually giving 5%.

I did report it to account services havent heard back from them.
I hope they are far more helpfull than in game help was, because they are expensive and honestly I probably spent 3500 Turbine points on them when they were on sale about a week or two ago. I have 5 Toons all TRed and at different levels all with various pots on them from collectable turn ins and store bought ones I know for a fact that drinking a 30 % while this 5 % is running just stacks 5% time longer. I had 3 hrs left drank another 30% pot for three hrs now have very close to 6 hrs on a 5% pot. Thinking at this point I am gonna put the toon in a quest and press the R button and go to bed in hopes of the pots just elapseing and the bug goes away.

Are you sure that the 30% pot didn't attach to the end of the 5%, meaning as soon as the 5% is done the 30% kicks in? This might not be what you wanted (I'm sure you wanted the 30%) but it would be good customer service for them to prevent you from wasting a 30% pot by drinking a 5% pot over it.

I am sure I drank 2 30% pots 3 hr duration when I had 10 or so mins left on previous pot and now have 5hrs 26 mins left and still only applying 5%

I just logged on to another TRed toon my 30% pot ran out proceeded to drink 3 10% pots 3 hr duration and now have 9 hours of 5%. The pots description says 10% I linked them to party chat drank them and got 5% after not only I inspected myself but the two guildys I was in party with. My wife who also plays was watching over my shoulder as I did this.

I submitted yet another ticket at Turbine support. Now I wonder if the stacks of xp pots have are all bad I have probably a total of 20 - 30 pots on tred toons various bonuses and durations. Will someone please help me Turbine?

I looked at my toons I have a total of 28 various XP pots, granted I buy whats on sale when its on sale. I never bought 5% xp pots I dont think they even sell 5% pots now or ever. I am annoyed now because this is real money not I lost an item on a rollback, this is real money that I exchanged for Turbine points their accepted currency on their store and I am not getting what I paid for. I dont know if any of my pots are what they say they are. I dont want to mess any other character xp bonuses up. I also didnt pay for 5 % pots.

Hmm, gonna check mine when I get home. My pots are fairly old (6ish months). Glad I didn't buy the 30% pots now.

And, no, you doubt you'll get a reply from Turbine & you definitely won't get your points back or replacement potions.

Well you are basically correct looks like Turbine is going to give me the run around. I contacted a GM this person tells me to contact Turbine Support, now Turbine Support says put in a bug report. I will do it then I will probably get a response like contact a Game Master, the old pass the buck and make the customer run in circles. Its just stupid if they want proof I can post screen shots but it wont matter nothing will get resolved.

As for pots drank prior to that point I was fairly sure that the higher percentage ones took precedence and then the lower ones kicked in again, but I am not 100% sure on that.

Screen shots coming, unable to post them from my current location but will be happy to do so. I submitted the screen shots with the bug reports I filed. If you are online you can inspect either of the two characters that this is happening on, Elements 10 th lvl Sorc 3rd life or Detirium 6 Fighter 1 Rogue 5th life.

As soon as I can post screen shots I will, be patient though Im on the west coast.

Mine were fine dude, all showing 20% and kicking out a full 20% bonus. Sorry you got shafted though =/.

Also, I don't think the bug reporting system in game works. Did you submit it through the site?

Yes submitted the bug reports via the forums. Just frustrated at this point seems like there attitude is well we cant get the problem to repeat so you are out of luck. All they need to do is look at the screenshots I sent them or inspect either character.

As far as I know they never sold gave away or made 5% pots available in any way shape or form. If Im wrong someone please tell me when they did. But I am sure thats not what I drank nor do I have any.

Happy others arent having the issue doesnt really help me though sadly

Couldnt get the screenshots to post under my name lost the attachment portion for whatever reason. Had my wife do it but you get the idea clearly states 5% ............. As far as I know Turbine never sold 5% pots and they could easily verify if I did buy 5% pots via the Emails they send upon sales. As I stated before I have NEVER seen 5% pots in the Turbine store or in game.

I have a feeling I am going to end up on the losing side of this arguement with Turbine my only hope is that others have the same issue and continue to submit bug reports and contact Turbine Services. I dont know what other proof I can provide them with or knowledge they cant get on their end. Basically Im getting told want some cheese with your wine.

I see that it says you have a 5% bonus to earned experience - did you earn experience and see if the bonus was 5% or if it actually was 20%?

There is plenty of precedent for things to have wrong descriptions but the correct effect all over this game.
