yeah panda broken--ddohigh download stalls 45% in

Needed to reinstall and high res stalls out consistently at 45% through the download.

It ain't my system, it ain't my network. Fiber here, clean laptop, no other network issues.

I'm trying the standard res.

I went through the various recent reports and can't find any credible fix.

Turbine, this has been going on a couple of days now from looking at the forums, what gives?

They apparently have enough time to close a thread and wag their finger at someone who swears , but can't be bothered to respond to a real problem that actually might affect their players.

I know it's bad form to reply to your own thread so quickly, but pando also locked up about 43% in (different byte count, but roughly the same percentage) downloading the standard resolution client.

Looks like no DDO for me for a while.

I'll try to report a ticket, but maybe I'll just download wow or something.

EDIT: Ticket filed from forum link here and on the Pando site. I got an automated reply from Pando telling me to read their FAQ (already done) and reinstall (already done). I found the closed thread mentioned above and I've got the same symptom, 43% in and it stalls. That sort of parallelism tells me the problem is either at Pando or Turbine. I don't know where the file seeds from, but I'd really like a plain Jane download of the whole CD.

Nothing from Turbine yet.

Aka it would take 2 dvd's currently. And that is off the installer of high res file from june of this year.

Anywho, I did my own hunting last night to see what I could find after I got bored.
