Also, quick question: does anyone know how to remove a custom channel from one's list? I forgot to hit enter while joining this fine channel, and while I was able to afterward, there's really no need for me to be in the "De/questfense" channel.

Hmmm…dragon scales sure are nice, as are abbot seals and alchemical weapons…

Lyles, you are far from alone on our server for learning legit goggles. Hopefully, this training session can help alleviate the lack of people that can do goggles out there.

Keep your eyes on the forums. Generally when a date and time is set, it will be posted on the forums here with the title showing which raid will be held. You would be suprised at just how much planning goes into one of these raid preps.

When a raid such as Abbot or Titan is going to be taught there is a considerable amount of time required to do so considering the puzzles have to be shown to EVERYONE or else it isn't a learning experience. Keep in mind that it could take several hours to get everything going smoothly and to get everyone into every puzzle to see what is going on. For Titan you generally restart the quest twice to get half the group into each puzzle otherwise you have to kill people and drag stones through which I guess is half the fun . For Abbot it depends on the difficulty, if you are training people on normal you might be able to show the 3 puzzles in the same run, but most likely a reset will be involved just to save on POT usage. We all know how Hen hates wasting good POT's.

I will be running into some spare time over the next few months and thought I would go through all the raids Tobril has taught and put them back up to get another group through the raids. I hope to see a lot more people following in Tobrils coat tails to get many many more groups going and further the knowledge base of Sarlona. I will have it worked out by this friday and have a raid ready to go by next week. I will also probably have atleast one training run going every week from here on out if I can muster the spare time.

I’m having a bit of a change of heart regarding the next training run.

Would anyone be terribly bent out of shape if Lord of Blades happens next?


Every “real pug” (aka not-channel) LoB I’ve been in has been a complete
trainwreck. The raid is awesome and crazy fun. It would be nice to get
more people running it, especially via LFM.
