New Player Raid Training – DQ – (Zawabi’s Revenge)

This will be a re-occurring event, as I am helping some people
get a certain item from this raid. (looking at you, torc)


The exact time will vary, but for the foreseeable future expect
this to happen every Tuesday evening. (MST)

There will not be reserved spots, attendance is whoever
happens to be available/interested.

I will advertise via something INCREDIBLY AWESOME as a
heads up, as well as placing an LFM. There may or may not
be two 6-person LFM’s that will merge for the raid.
(there is a pre-quest that must be ran every time, only 6 people may enter it)

Once the LFM goes up you will have ~15 minutes to join and
enter the pre-raid. (see video for how to get there)


Difficulty will be semi-random normal/hard/elite.
(I’ve never noticed a difference in drops for non-epic settings)


These runs will be a bit different than my previous raid training
sessions. Participants will learn how to solo the raid on various
classes. Many builds (including melee) are capable of this task,
I’ll help with logistics, tactics, etc.

Considerations for the Epic version will also be discussed.



Requirements

Be flagged. You must have completed Offering of Blood,
Chains of Flame, and The Chamber of Raiyum. You are on
your own for these, even a barbarian can run these at level.
A 20 should have no issues whatsoever.

100% Fortification
DR breaker – The boss requires a combination of Cold Iron and Good. (melee/archer requirement)

An open mind and a little patience is also helpful.

Just a reminder that this is tonight, and every following Tuesday for awhile.

Since this will be non-epic we’ll be talking about the mechanics of the raid
while someone solo’s it. The idea here is to familiarize people to the area
and give them pointers for participating in the epic version.

Done on elite.

Had a few people show interest in learning to solo the raid, they should be able to after trying once or twice. Also discussed epic loot run in ATDQ.


Drops: torc, seal of the earth, zephyr cloak (maybe another item as well, i forgot)

Was mostly a loot run, although there were a few new people that learned some of the ins and outs.
