It is gonna be a 18/2 rogue monk just this life i was just gonna do a past life and tr auto just it was fun and that last accommodation for my armor was calling me it was a very nice build when i do get to my 18/2 life it will be even greater Dps than its already great Dps ^^

Yep it was a stop over build for me to before TR'ing back to Monk but that was a *long* time ago. The build is just that awesome, imo.

Edit: Disclaimer: though I can see the benefit of a 12 monk/sneak attack build with OC, just not enough of a benefit for me to go through another TR when the current build already performs beautifully.

is the extra monk feat and concentration worth the 2nd monk level as opposed to 1d6 more sneak damage?

It's +1 wisdom too which is +1 DC on EiN and SF currently. Also +7 HP and gives meditate which is crucial now for charging EiN.

Main thing I'd consider changing is going human and either 1 fighter/1 monk or 1 Druid/1 monk. I'd suggest to look at the feats, they're tight, particularly as you want both power attack and precision.

Stupid question, but when you splash a couple of monk levels into a rogue build, is it better to always wear monk robes/armor and hand wraps? Or is it better to play the part of the rogue, and still wear rogue leather armor and/or rogue weapons?

I'm following this build and at first it felt powerful (DPS). Now I'm level 11, 9/2 rogue/monk, and I don't feel as though I'm able to keep up the high DPS in the party.

Of course, when I do draw agro it's great to have bluff/diplo!

the monk splash is all about stunning fist. Ideally you should be using +stunning handwraps, probably +8 stunning is available at your level reasonably cheep. You more or less want to be using stunning fist on cooldown, don't bother with any other use for your Ki. Stun it, kill it with massive SA, move on to the next mob. You should be able to kill each mob within the 6 second cooldown between stunning fists - this will remain that way until Epic Elite.

Thanks for that advice. I can't find +8's, but I did find +6 stunning handwraps. They made a big difference. I'll keep my eyes always peeled for better and better stunners.

I was actually thinking ok taking one monk and changing it to 1 fighter for the +3 action boosts and the 30% haste boost as with the rog you need to go into the acrobat tree and spend 5 points to get up to rog haste. And the tier 1 stuff isn't really grand.

I'd say take 2 fighter for the added +3 to tactics but lv 18 rog nets a nice core ability (ko most stuff on vorpal) so not to giddy to give that up.
