That one may be it. The reason I post this, you can blame my wife, is apparently one of the original artists is redoing all that artwork (or at least some of them.) How much of a redo I have no clue.

No, I'm not trying to push the guys work, but I figure those of DnD who have played longer than I have may be curious.

It's the Hardcover one, dated Jan 1, 1980. I would have to look at it before buying one though. After the 1st edition, lawsuits were threatened so they removed all offending content, like Elric, Cthulu, etc. from the 2nd printing.

edit: I rather like the freaky artwork in the 1st edition. It will probably all be sanitized now, sigh.

When I threw out all of my books (downsized out house), the only thing I overlooked was a Dieties and Demigods first printing. I've thought about eBaying it but can't bring myself to do it.
