    Default Cleric 13/Paladin 6/Rogue 1

I am thinking of starting a new player on another server to bounce to when I am on raid timers for my main. I was thinking of that split, mostly to get the saves and either hunter of the dead or KOTC from the paladin and then traps from the rogue as a solo character. Will not be running many raids and will be just to mess around on.

    I was thinking stats

Str 16 (+5 level ups, +6 item, +1 human adapatablity)
    Dex 8
Con 16 (+6 item at minimum)
    Int 12
    Wis 14 (+6 item, 2 enchancements)
Char 10 (+6 item, 2 enhancements to qualify for RSII)

all level ups to strength, using two handed weapons for damage and then bursts and aura to help keep myself up. Going Human or Helf

If human I would take the following feats

rogue level 1 - Toughness, THF
Cleric level 2 - 7 Empower healing, maximise
    Paladin 8-9 Improved THF
Cleric 10 - 16 IC: Slash, Greater THF,
Paladin 17 - 20 Quicken or shield mastery and bastard sword instead of GTHF and quicken

HElf I would drop either GTHF, or Quicken and I would take either the Barb dilly or monk dilly, barb for more constitution, and monk for the extra AC. More than likely barb

Not sure if this would be fun as a solo though and if quicken is needed at all as I will not be using mass heal, blade barriers will be used so maybe need it for that?

Has anyone tried this mix before? I would get 4 skill points to spend each level so enough to keep Con, balance and Disable maxed, or Disabled, Con and UMD. As it is a new character on a new server it would not have access to twink gear, plat or tomes i have stashed on my main.

Or is fighter better off and maybe raising Charisma to 14 to qualify for paladin dilly and divine might 1?

I decided to do a human version 12/6/2 (cleric, fighter, rogue) to see if I could get most of the feats I wanted. As I could not get the paladin to work feat wise.

    Enhancement: Cleric Life Magic IV

    Level 20 (Fighter)
    Feat: (Fighter Bonus) Power Attack
    Enhancement: Fighter Stalwart Defender I

    Highlights

    Feats

    3x dragonmarks
Exotic weapon Bastard sword (mostly so I can use them while leveling til I get everything for the epic chimerafang)
    Empower healing
    3x THF feats
    Toughness
    maximize
    Power Attack
    Shield mastery

Would like to get quicken and IC: slash if possible but not sure what to give up here, maybe power attack? Toughness? Maximize and empower healing are needed for the spells I will be casting namely the bursts and blade barrier. No point in taking the bastard sword if I am not going to have all three THF feats and need the Dragon marks so I can power up the epic fang when I get it.

I think I grabbed all the feats from the planner.

    Enhancements:

    Radiant Servant II
    Stalwart Defender II

Skills sure I am missing something here

    Search - 31 (11 + 10 item + 10 find trap spell)
    DD - 43 (23 +15 item, +5 tools)

UMD needs work I think that it would be around 20 which will help with items and some scrolls from the arcane side.

But the search and DD should be good for what I need on almost all quest right? This will be a solo build and will do quests at level normal, hard, elite if able.

    My Evasion should be fine

11 base reflex with buffs and all should be around 28 to 30 as I should be able to use Greater heroism scrolls as well as other buffs from the cleric school.
I am only including things I know I can get my hands on, I am sure the skills will be +3 better at least with enhancements, and items.

There's a discussion about the pros and cons of the various 12 cleric splits at this url:

    http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?p=4202292

The conclusion is that the build really comes alive if you can get an Epic Chimaera's Fang for it and can fully power it with 3*THF'ing feats and 3*Sentinel DMs.

For leveling purposes exotic weapon proficiency bastard sword would work fine but it's never going to really shine except as a solo character.

Stats wise, 16 str, 8 dex, 16 con, 8 int, 14 wis, 14 cha would definitely be what I want. 14 charisma is important as Radiant Servant bursts are going to make up a significant portion of your healing and DPS (DMII or burst vs undead). On a 28 point build I'd drop con to 14.

Yep, same as above, dump dex and int, you'll get an extra skill point from human anyway, and dex will be max with a tome and item for any of the armors you'll want.

I just wanted to add that this build is going to be VERY item dependent. You'll need 2-3 sources of healing amp, epic chimera's fang, a rocking set of AC boosters, and some other various items as well, which you'll never get actually playing this build. So, if you're serious about it, then I suggest rolling up a pure cleric or 2/18 fighter cleric at most, THEN roll this up as a second life when you are geared for it.

It'll give you some more experience, 2 more build points (maybe for that 10 int you wanted) and you'll have the gear you'd need that you couldn't get otherwise.

Now, I say you couldn't get it otherwise because that build simply won't get accepted in PUGs, it's the nature of people. If you're in a really nice guild, maybe this would work in a first life. But even then it would be painful to level and play without the gear first.

I will take a look at that thread, thanks I tend to stick in the spell caster forum.

I could do a first life as a pure or 18/2 to get the items I need. I have never built a character like this so not sure how hard it would be to level up. As it is with the time I have to play I tend to solo a lot anyway.
