    Default 10K stars enhancement

So I am running a fairly new monk and took the 10,000 stars enhancement after the last update. Now it states that 10,000 stars will work with bows if you also have zen archery, and adds extra arrows like manyshot does. It says it will not stack with manyshot. But does this basically mean if you're an archer with manyshot and 6 monk levels that you get 2 manyshots that you can alternate on and off and be almost always in manyshot mode?

As long as you have enough Wisdom (there's a thread testing how much Wisdom gives what values) and can generate the Ki somehow, yes, you'll have a lot of Manyshots.

    Generally speaking, yes.

To get good use out of 10,000 Stars it is worthwhile to invest in wisdom. Preliminary testing indicates that a wisdom score of 38 will see as much benefit to DPS as what manyshot does.

On another note, to have decent ranged DPS you basically need slayer arrows from being helf/elf and having a blue bar for Arcane Archer PrE (at level 20 anyway).

With my 32 wisdom, I see a lot of 2 and 3 arrow shots with 10k stars on... which is solid... (Manyshot gives me 4 arrows).

It really does help. Wisdom based AA monk-archers appear to be the best ranged characters in the game right now.

This is not completely true in the 1-19 game.. A wisdom-based monk archer can do decent DPS with 10k stars even without slayer arrows, and of course any archer can do good DPS with manyshot... But yes, all ranged characters need to work in the Arcane Archer PrE and manyshot...

And to fully contribute, an archer in this game should be prepared to switch to melee when on-timer for both manyshot and 10k stars (good idea for the monk archer anyway to rebuild Ki)

It is like going to a museum and bragging about how fast you made it through. Or bragging about how fast you finished a good steak.
