I just learned tonight that we can only stack those things to 10 before they start taking up additional bag slots!
That is shameless.
Turbine put a lot of time and effort into making these challenges. Dedicated nearly an entire update to them. So I'm guessing that you want people to play and enjoy that content?
Not like this.
After buying the sixth inventory slot shortly after it was released for my UMD main I was enjoying having some free space for the first time in a long time. And now these challenges come along with their tokens and new requisition forms and crests and other junk that's taking up all the extra space. All BOUND TO CHARACTER, of course, so that we can't offload any of it into the shared bank or another character (as if that's what I really want to do anyway.)
I simply can NOT justify this stuff taking up so much space when it's so singularly focused. The Challenges are supposed to be an expansion and alternative play experience in the game. Not something that dominates our inventory like this.
It's going to end up being all or none for me. If Turbine doesn't see fit to address this inventory pig I think I'm just going to delete everything from those quests and be done with it. It'll be sad to be completely cutting out that content, but it will also be a HUGE inventory relief.
Is that really what you want people to do?
In the interest of making sure that Turbine can continue to monetize the inventory mini-game with each additional update/event I will once again suggest that each "Event" be given something like an "Event Trunk" where bound to character, event-specific, consumables and obsolete tiered gear (for TRs) can be stored. I'm talking about using, and expanding upon, the Cookie Jar model (yes, I have the largest cookie jar in my inventory, too!)
I'll take a Mabar Trunk, Crystal Cove Crate, Risia Rucksack, and a Cannith Challenge Coffer to go. Give me some place I can store and organize all this... "loot"... in one place and I'll be happy to throw some money at you.
