    Default Help Lost Inventory

    This has happened twice today, once with 2 different characters.
    I double clicked an item in my shared bank account to transfer it to that character's inventory. The item disappeared from the bank account but never showed up in my inventory, I checked via search (inventory) and looked very carefully in all my bags.
    These items are rare and took me a very long time to get, replacing them will not be fun.
    I also went back to the characters who put them in the shared bank to begin with to be safe but they are not there either.
    Gloves of the Titan's Grip and a Mysterious Artifact

    I submitted a bug report but I can I pretty much assume these items are lost forever?
    Having never had to deal with Turbine support before am I wishful thinking this will have a happy ending?

    Anyone else have this happen?

    It seems to happen every now and then to folks.

    One thing that gets suggested is to go to a bartender and check the buy back tab.

    This is a bug that happens when you get lag while you use the bank.
    Unfortunately there's no fix, nor reimburse, and good or not you still should send the bug report.

    Supposedly the lag spikes on bank and mail happens rather ocassionally instead of all the time as was some time ago.
    The item lags a little then appears in your inventory, instead of taking it forever like before.
    However, it is still possible that it goes missing, specially if you pulled multiple items or walked away.

    The player tips were:
    - check the bank first, if it is not responsive don't move a costly item. this is more tricky with mail lag.
    - stay there and don't walk away or close the mail or bank windows, this may take long.
    it is said that the item eventually shows up but if you leave or relog the item is lost.
    - ask in chat if there's bank lag, it also warns people and let em send reports.

    I've seen this bug, but it required certain steps to occur. Server lag+moving items directly from shared bank to inv+moving away or logging out before the lag subsides. Stackable items (ie: an Artifact) are the only items I could make disappear...so I am a little surprised you are missing the Gloves. Maybe recheck your inventory (make sure it isn't full) and character/shared bank just in case.

    If one or both are gone, don't expect them back. Consider it a cheap lesson though, you could have lost a lot worse. I make it a habit to be patient when interacting with the bank when it's laggy.

    ugh I can't even recall how many times I had to run mindsunder for those gloves....=(
