This. Healers were wasting SP and/or scrolls. If someone dies say 3+ times more than others in a VoD.. leave em be. That simple.

Two possibilities exist from my perspective on a situation like this. 1) People were inexplicably raising this person because they do not know how to cut a loss. 2) People were intentionally raising this person just to see how many notches he would accumulate because honestly, 42 deaths is kinda funny and after farming an easy raid for a long time you are tempted to inject some levity into your runs when possible.

I think no curse pots were brought and someone burnt through a lot of raise scrolls to see how many times they would take the bait for shiggles.

Looks more like someone decided to continually use the resurrection shrine after the quest was completed than died in combat that much. In which case, 42 deaths isn't nearly as impressive, but definitely entertaining.

Scorecard doesn't record anything after completion, that had to have been accomplished during the quest.

It has to be raises. If you look at the party chat it was all in a row (from what you can see). That or someone has an addiction to Rez Cakes and spent their whole 9k TP point bundle on them...

That's actually not true. Deaths and reentries are still recorded after completion.

This is false. This is easily accomplished by spamming the rez shrine while standing in the spikes. I know this because I have done it on several occasions- makes an insane repair bill. when I said it doesn't count after completing the quest I meant that it doesn't infer anything about this dudes toon or skill.
