Default Sell scrolls of Negative Energy Burst

it's not like their offensive ability would be in any way over-powered and it'd give PMs a consumable hjealing option.

I'd like to see much more variety of scrolls at vendors. It's understandable that certain scrolls are kept out of the shop in order to not completely invalidate the actual spell, but there really aren't that many in my opinion. Any spell that relies on a DC or does actual damage is 95% perfectly safe to add to a vendor if they chose to do so as it wouldn't even come close to the effectiveness of the actual spell. NEB falls into this category as would Harm if they wanted to give that option as well.

you can get a decent number just by trading in collectables in undead form.

that said, i can't help but feel that NEB in scroll form would be rather useless... it just isn't going to cure an awful lot of damage. harm would be nice, though :P

    Harm would work.

But why do they need large consumable healing?

I think classes that need that more are melees. Heal pots please.

It's almost as hard for a PM to cast a Harm scroll as it is for a melee to cast a Heal scroll, so in that way, they both have access to comparable healing. Granted heal scrolling on a caster type is much easier and dps efficient than it could ever be on a melee due to a number of mechanics that are just part of the game.

Kiting mobs through persistent spells lets you keep your dps high while healing. That same kiting comes with the inherent advantage of being hit much less so your concentration check is more likely to not even be a factor. In general, your abilities come with a convenient cooldown which allows you to heal scroll in between.

If a melee stops swinging, he's very likely doing 0 dps. A melee has to swap out of their weapon to hit the scroll, all the while removing themselves from combat with no persistent DPS running while they do so. I'm sure we could get into the reasons for or against better heal pots for melee, but that's a discussion for another (extremely hotly debated) thread.
