Default new cookies and changed ones

There was just a very small update on lamannia and it appears the new cookies have made their way onto lammania. At least the cookie jars were changed as that's where I got the info.

    New cookies

Toven d'Cannith-Positive energy infusion and radiant forcefield

Kobold-imbues you with the amazing jumping power of a kobold and turns into a purple crystal recommended use in challenges

Lord of Blades-10% slayer boost in adventure areas for 30 minutes

    Medusa-Flesh to Stone

Taken-turns you into something fabulous or at least Yaulthoon will think so

    Changed cookies

    Mabar-Wail of the Banshee

    Shavarath-Blade barrier
    Ghallanda Rerolled
LeLodar LeLothian LeLoki LeLoman LeLonia LeLog

nice, seems they put some thought into these.

And with 2 more items that change your character into something else.. Druids seem to be getting closer and closer... Rumor was the tech for that was a major thing holding back druids.

    some thoughts:
toven: Uber.. want to buy tovne cookies!
Kobold: High jump that works outside challenges? would be awesome, but probably not the case. guessing its actually "required: be in challenge, not "recommended".

Lord of blades: lame, hardest boss in the game deserves more. Coulda went 20-33% , the 10% ones are easy to get now anyways via challenge barter ui.

medusa/mabar/shavarth: mmm suffer same isse all offensive types do im sure, poor dc. Tho maybe fun for an artificer.

overall cool changes to the cookies.

    two things im curious about.

will old cookie jars get upgraded so they can hold the new types of cookies? my large jar is feeling left out atm

Does the 10% slayer boost actually give 10%? The reason im curious I noticed that the crafting ui states that it will give you 20% reknown elixer's but actually only gives you 10% ones.

Why do I get the feeling the Toven cookies will probably require the gold coins to get?

Have any other properties of any other cookies been changed?

Also, I think Lord of Blades should at least summon a rain of blades, just as the Xyzzy cookie sprays bees!

I bought the cookie jar the other day when the new stuff was not added yet and it upgraded automatically.

I don't have any cookies to be able to tell you whether they work right or not just going off the descriptions in a cookie jar.

hmm weird. in that case its either a issue with having cookies inside the jar while the patch is implemented or just specifically an issue with the old large cookie jars.

Same my old large jar didn't update with the new cookies, but it shows the changed ones.

OP : You forgot the Jump cake ( forgot it's name )... that has changed to a Jump and Feather Fall Cake.
On G-Land : Flavilandile, Blacklock, Yaelle, Millishande, Larilandile, Gildalinde, Tenalafel, and many other...

Late not posting is a bad idea... This post was meant to be in another topic.

Anyway, I'm experiencing the same issue with my cookie Jar. All my cookies are still there, however no new slots have been added, as I haven't had a chance to get any of the new cookies, I'm not sure if slots will be added automatically when a cookie appears in my inventory. I doubt that'd be the case though.

Can you clarify what you are seeing? Are the new cookies not going into your Cookie Jar, or are the "old" cookies in there not being updated to the new effects?

I thought what was said was clear, but here goes.

Checked cookies inside cookiejar. Any cookies that were changed properly received their change. However the cookiejar itself did not update. Here's the results of two minutes of testing.

    - Opened existing large cookie jar - no new slots for new cookies.
    - Purchased new large cookie jar - new slots for new cookies.

Newly purchased cookiejar on left, old existing cookiejar transferred to lamannia TODAY on right

    - Emptied old cookiejar, closed it, opened it - no changes to slots.
    - Closed client, relogged, opened old cookiejar - no changes to slots.

    Conclusion
Old cookie jars are not upgraded to hold the new cookie types.

Shavarath cookies used to be blade barrier before they were changed last year. I used them a lot at low level and it made life easy. Drop a blade barrier in front of door, open and watch stuff die.

This is NOT a new change. They have been like this for the last year. What is odd about them is that they are not usable in public areas. What's wrong with jump and featherfall in a public area?

Odds on this being fixed before next Wednesdays patch???? I'll give it less than 50/50....

Maybe the 14.1 patch considering how many truly relevant things this patch is addressing........

Thanks for the report, we've passed it along to the proper folks for investigation.

My poor little rogue Sockpuppet has been packing on the pounds with all of these cookies. He's good at lots of things--but not at avoiding tasty temptations. I fear he may lose his battle-readiness.

Could we introduce some healthier low-cal alternatives?

Instead of a Lard of Blades cookie, maybe we could have a Lord of Broccoli vegetable stick?

i would argue that the broccoli could be much more easily made to look like the medusa, personally

for the lord of blades, i think you want a carrot stick figure ^^
