Yeah I know the people that need to read this don't read the forums but hey it was time for an uncaring jerk like myself to start another whinging thread about it anyway so here goes ....

It never ceased to amaze me that some people think it is OK to join an epic raid without even a modicum of survivability.

Heavy Fort is cheap and easy to obtain. Even if you don't have access to any adventure packs. I cannot count the number of Deathblock robes of Heavy Fortification I loot each week. ( while we are at it ... deathblock is a nice mod as well ) Also the night forged gorget provides heavy fort an is available in the F2P relic of a sovereign past quest FREE and min level 11 i believe.

Con + 6 items are also cheap and easy as well as the Greater False Life mod. ( you can get both of these mods together on a belt in Amrath quests but that might not be available to everyone )

Standard lootgen is your friend.

Under no circumstance should you join an epic raid without these 3 cheap and easy to obtain mods ! (Well go ahead and join without the GFL if you already have more than 500 or so HP and haven't yet slotted GFL in a yellow slot.)

Remember dead = zero DPS.

It took a handful of majors but we won regardless of the dead weight.

Yeah we finished... mostly because we had a few excellent DPS and the fact the Rahmanii- can make miracles happen.

Why didn't you decide to not run with them when you can see their hp, thanks to the new way hp bars are set up? I wouldn't let anyone into my Echrono's if they only had 350hp personally... CON IS NOT DUMP STAT!

Depending on if someone is well known or if I have ran with them multiple times, 350hp wouldn't be the issue, but someone on a first life toon, with no con item, no heavy fort, and no sense to listen to people that know something about what is going on, I agree.

And we didn't run with them, they ragequit before we started, much to mine, Morfane's and Jozza's dismay. Would have been funny watching them get 2-shotted by Bloodplate and wondering why.

I'm not sure what makes me sadder - that you were unable to make these people see sense without upsetting them to the point that they 'ragequit' or that you are upset because they quit and therefore were not around to give you giggles as they failed.
