    Default My idea on a change to FVS AOV.

    First of all lets start with my idea on a spell change:
    -Sound Burst: 1d4 Sonic Damage per caster level up to caster level 10. The target must also succeed a fortitude save or a spell resistance check or be stunned for 1d6 seconds plus an additional second per caster level up to caster level 10.
    (Difference is it does more damage than the original though not so much that it's OP and still has all the same constraints such as SR check as the original, and it stuns now instead of daze)

    AOV enhancements:
    Tier 1: All effects remain the same as before except now that 20% boost applies to sonic spells too.
    Tier 2: All effects are still the same as before except now that 30% boost applies to sonic spells too and you gain 5 more meters to your Aura Of Menace.
    Tier 3: (1) An additional 5 meters to your Aura of Menace (max 25 meters), (2) 40% boost to untyped, sonic, fire, and physical damage, (3) You can now use Sound Burst as a Spell Like Ability that costs 10 SP and has a 3 second cool down.

    So does this look viable or would you consider it OP?

    But why would you change this spell from it's pnp form and not another?

    Some spells have been adapted, but there needs to be a decent reason for it.

    I don't see a reson to change a spell that works as always intended.

    Why not just cast orders wrath? Seems to be damage/effect you want.
    No need to change the prestige, just take the smiting enhancements.
    Plus it targets the will save, much better for hitting those ogres and trolls.
    Any monster with a weak fort save, can be hit with something more dangerous than a soundburst.

    It's not overpowered in the normal sense, but the combination of abilities is quite broken for the right build. You're basically giving FvS a practically free mass hold monster that also deals damage at the same time. The cooldown is less than the duration so you can simply spam it until all the threats are dealt with. Because of the low 10 sp cost, it could end up being cheaper than casting a single implosion per fight.

    I think with some minor adjustments this set of abilities could be a nice bonus for spellsinger 3 when it's released as they could really use a nice mass crowd control spell option and sonic fits their theme a bit more.
