    Default A few questions.

I've rolled up a WF Warchanter, and this being my first bard, I've got a few questions floating around in my head.

What should I do for spells? At level 1 I have Master's Touch, level 2 I'll probably take CLW. What else?

With only 12 CHA, would my CC spells and Fascinates be any good? I can't imagine them doing much come endgame of course, but what about while I'm leveling? All I'm really planning on doing is buffing everyone up then charging in to the melee and possibly throwing out backup heals, so I'm not too concerned with CC. But I'd just like to know for sure so I don't waste spell slots on spells that won't work.

The skills I'll be putting points into are Perform, Concentration, Balance, UMD, and Haggle. Looking good or should I change something?

If it matters, here's the build I'm using: http://forums.ddo.com/showpost.php?p...09&postcount=2

Fascinate, as long as you are maxxing out perform it will hit 99% of the time at level content
Clashing (Healing Spellsinger Bard), Faerwynd (lvl 20 Caster Cleric), Cocus (lvl 20 Palemaster Wizard), Grougal (Wolf/Healing Druid)

Level 1: Focus Chant, Expeditious Retreat, Masters Touch
    Level 2: Blur, Rage, Invisibility
Level 3: Good Hope*, Haste, Displacement
Level 4: Freedom of Movement, Dimension Door, Cure Critical Wounds
Level 5: Mass Cure Light Wounds, Greater Heroism, Mass Suggestion**
Level 6: Mass Cure Moderate Wounds, Otto's Irresistible Dance, Heroes Feast

    * A tip with good hope is to always cast and if you see the icon pop up you know your inspire courage has warn off and it's time to sing again.
** may not be helpful for all builds, but the best thing is its a mass charm and the enemies do not get a re-roll after they save. Casting in a large group and hoping 1 sticks could even work for a melee focus WC, though there are probably better uses for SP.
What I typically do is switch out the lower heal spells after I get the higher ones. I like Grease and Merfolks by end game. Your build will mostly look for heal and buff spells. That list is older so I would add crushing despair to the list because it lowers saves no matter what.
