I laughed out loud, and hard. *This* will be fun to see.Four new weapons have been added to the Challenge vendors: A greataxe, khopesh, longbow, and rapier.
Edit : I know everyone's curious:
YES, the Challenge Ingredients are now Bound to Account.

I know it happens every year but....
NNOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!The planes of Eberron are shifting, and Festivult cookies and cakes have undergone changes, as usual.
Though now I'm dying to know what changed. That and looking through my alts I found a bunch of coins I forgot to turn in.
The problem is never how to get new, innovative thoughts into your mind, but how to get old ones out. Every mind is a building filled with archaic furniture. Clean out a corner of your mind and creativity will instantly fill it.

I'm curious about the drop rates of the Cerebral Distillation Unit and the Elemental Motion Fixation Device in the new chest that appears in Master Artificer:
- An additional chest will now appear when the optional "Destroy Toven's Soul-Clensing Device" is completed before Toven is confronted and beaten. Items to upgrade Toven's Hammer can appear in this chest.
Looked in the release notes and known issues and didn't find mention of the following :
- challenge collectable becoming BTA
- reaver/abbot item update.
are they in this patch ? or do we have to wait for another one ?

I just wanted to thank the devs for putting in the exchange 20 challenge ingredients for 10 different challenge ingredients. Now I can avoid the crystal cove challenges and just run the challenges I want to run. This makes the challenges far more enjoyable for me and means I will be playing the challenges now. I enjoy the mansion challenges..![]()

I agree with this completely. For the last week or so I had been trying to find guildies or friends to run some challenges with, but I was only able to get a few here or there done before people shuffled off for various other things. Combined with a huge grind to start with, it's making it difficult to enjoy the quests. A few weeks in and I still haven't crafted up my first item, let alone think about upgrading it 2 more times with epic tokens. Now I can just solo the mansion quests in my free time (as anything with kobolds is horribly annoying to solo). I'd rather do 3x the number of mansion quests solo than group up for any kobold quests. If the pathing was fixed, my opinion may change on that. I'll also have a look at how "toned down" the lich and marilith are now. Last few runs where the lich showed up, my kobold team was wiped in less than 30 seconds. With a party wailing away on him, he took serious time to beat down in a quest where time is a precious resource. It was making for a very unfun experience.

Please remember that release notes on Lamannia are subject to change, and it's common to update them after their initial publication.
We've now added that Challenge ingredients are now Bound to Account. Also, that the Stalker's Ring manslayer effect now works as intended, as does the True Seeing effect on the Tinker's Finesse set bonus.
Additionally, several items from the Abbot raid are now upgradable, although this does not effect items already looted. Unwavering Ardency, Enduring Conviction, and Breeze are now upgradable.
And, finally, the Level 20 Frozen Tunic grants Superior Ice Lore on its final tier upgrade as intended.
We discussed the ability to upgrade "old" Reaver and Abbot loot last week here.
Have fun, and don't forget to gather for buffs!

Appreciate the updates. It just gets frustrating to often have to go test the things that are in the release notes to make sure they are right and then find out about things not in the release notes later. The fact that every update has to have ait's own player created list of things not in the notes is a little ridiculous. Also leaving something in the release notes that was already previously done and on the live version like the ml for suplly crates can be very misleading/confusing.
I do hope the exchange is cruddy enough that this won't lead to people effectively buying plat in order to buy large devil scales (or such). Many weapons, armor and shields that can be purchased from the DDO Store can now be sold to vendors in the game.
Woohoo, but does "Vale of Twilight-specific items' mean Chipmunk Funk and such? Does it include the stones? The normal end-reward list (not the 20th completion list) has been modified to offer better rewards. Vale of Twilight-specific items, and randomly-generated treasure, have been added to the mix. The chance of getting small or medium ingredients has decreased, and the chance of getting large ingredients has increased. The end reward list now also has a lower chance of producing duplicate items.
... I don't think the known issues was updated...
Does the '20 for 10' exchange let you 'downgrade' Epic Arcanaloth Scrolls to regular Arcanoloth Scrolls and so on?
While running level 20 runs would be much more efficient, sometimes you'd just have more fun running 25 instead.
