I recently discovered the benefits of bringing a hired hand into a quest, *frowns* but I also seem to be having a problem. Now every time I go to pick up an item that will bind on pick-up it asks me to confirm my intent to pick it up. Is this linked to having the game think I am in a group because of the hireling or is some other setting glitching?
I did Smuggler's Warehouse and the game asked confirmation every time I found a ruby *growls*.

Smugglers' Warehouse does that. It did, then it didn't around update 10 and now it does again. Most bound items will ask you to confirm and I don't think it is related to groups.
What do you mean a -6 armor class is no good any more?

I do believe it is because you are in a group. When I solo it, it doesn't ask - when I'm in a group, it asks. Or did, last time I was there some weeks ago.
DDO: If a problem cannot be solved by the application of DPS, you're not applying enough.
