Default Game crashes when visiting external site

For the past few weeks my game will crash whenever I try to visit an external site in my in game browser. I keep a few links on my myddo page for use in game, puzzle solvers, raid timers and such. When I click on these I get the standard message that I'm about to navigate away from myddo, and when I click on the link to continue, my game crashes. I didn't think much of it, and have just been tabbing out of DDO in order to use my browser to prevent this.

But recently this became an issue when I tried to purchase points for my account. I usually check out with paypal. When I attempted to do that, right after I signed into paypal, my game crashed, and I can only assume this was again due to the bug with the game crashing when I try to navigate to an external site. I am currently unable to add additional points using paypal.

Would appreciate technical assistance with remedying this crashing problem.

Nothing new here sadly, DDOwiki has been crashing the game for some since U10... For me it's since U11.

It's just getting more and more widespread on different websites.
On G-Land : Flavilandile, Blacklock, Yaelle, Millishande, Larilandile, Gildalinde, Tenalafel, and many other...

The game browser is a fixed width/height and doesn't respond well to resolution changes trying to render when the game is x but the desktop is y,

First thing I would recommend is syncing up what Windows uses for the desktop sceen resolution and what the game uses for its screen resolution (e.g. if the desktop is on 1280x1024 but the game uses 1024x768, reset the game in Options > Graphics > Full Screen Resolution to use 1280x1024 instead), this might not fix every crash caused by loading (any) external sites in the in-game browser (which it was never intended to do so in terms of ones that were not already configured to work within it that is) but this might help.

About the PayPal crash that one can also be sometimes some of the dialogs that paypal's site tries to throw. I've seen some reports of the above having an affect but also try this. Exit out of the game and game launcher, load up paypal directly in your internet browser and log into your paypal account, then go ahead and revalidate the account and your billing info (e.g. the credit card, checking account etc). Then relaunch the game to test, this too might have an affect.
