Funny that I tried to buy some reasonably priced silver handwraps at the AH for the last two months, to no avail (none at all, or overpriced ones). Been using Eternal Rest all this time, unless I could get an artificer to buff other wraps. This week I got to level 18, my fists became silvered themselves, so I don't need them at all anymore.

I don't understand why adamantine or silver wraps have such prices. True, they don't drop frequently, but... a high-level monk overrides most DRs, so studded wraps only have a low/mid-level market target. Anyhow, level 20 is close now, so in a few weeks I'll TR one more time and will be able to buy cheapo weaponry again. Will miss the monk, though... such an awesome class.

Too true, sometimes I forget that not everyone goes Shintao (heck, I've been scoffed for going light, I should know better than that). Anyway, all monks get to override Adamantine, and that does not make the corresponding wraps any cheaper than, let's say, Cold Iron. Well, it's a free market, everyone can sell at the price they want to, and I'm also free not to buy if I don't want to.

Kensai splashes have been a more common sight post U9 -- those builds preclude the native DR/adamantine bypass.
