Microphone all wonky

I started to sense that my mic was doing weird things when I'd say stuff, and people didn't respond.

And then one day, trying to validate from the PL which VoN quest we were doing next, the reply was "Darth Vader, is that you?"


So, I shut up, and later on, played around with the mic test to see what was going on. Yea, I sound like Darth Vader + Barry White submerged in 10 feet of molasses.

I've fiddled with the mic settings in Windows as much as I can (there aren't that many options to configure), to no avail.

Could this be a DirectX thing? What other things can I check, or change?

at lest your mic is working i cant get my mic to work at all it did work at 1 time but now it dont seem to work after the last update
