looking for a bard build

hey all,as from christmas im going vip(thanks to wife's xmas present)so im looking to tr one of my characters from a tempest ranger into a bard and was wondering if any wonderful soul out there could come up with a build i could follow. the things i would like are twf khopesh,human,34pts(tr'ing) i am not opposed to multi classing and would love to play a character who can buff others and crowd control in group, self buff and have semi decent dps for soloing. if this isnt really posible i understand but my fingers are crossed. if theres a good build out there already could somone please supply a link, would be most greatful. ok thanks for reading.

To point you into a general direction, I think that a splashed Warchanter will suit your needs best. It's pretty mainstream to do that, but that kind of build offers a lot of fun.
Either of 14 brd/4 fgt/2 rogue, 15 brd/3 rog/2 fgt or 16 brd/2 rog/2 fgt are builds which might fit to your needs, depending how much you want to emphasize on versatility vs. personal dps, and unsituational dps vs. Sneak Attack damage.

Level 12 for Evasion is rather late, but I guess that this progression maximizes the amount of skill points.


As a variant, one could drop Str to 17, upgrade Int to 11 and plan with a +1 tome at level 3.

This would allow to max out the following skills:
UMD
Perform
Concentration
Disable Device
Search

and get some ranks in:
Jump
Balance
Open Locks.

If you have access to a +3 Int tome (which might be possible with a TR), that's even one more skill to put points into.

Of course there is much room left for tweaking and personalisation. If healing with UMD and scroll enhancements is enough for you the Bard Song Magic IV and empower healing feat can be traded for something else.
