    Default So gimp it hurts. one hand fighting dwarf

    So, this is probably a bad idea.

    Might be fun though

    So, spent considrable resources obtaining then beefing DCs of the tactical moves. sunder/stunning blow feats taken/fighter stun/sunder I & II + dwarven tactics I & 2 = 12 AP.

    I don't think I'd make a 1 handed fighting character that wasn't at least close to pure artificer (16+ levels).

    I'd definitely rate Dwarves as one of the best options for a melee Artificer.
    Because:
    Moar HP
    Don't have to spend a feat on Daxe (just use masters touch or splash fighter)
    Daxe enhancements overcome some of the AB issues of artificers

    These perks can probably keep dwarves in front of many other melee artificer racial choices until later levels when items like echimaera's fang or docent of defiance are acquired (depending on race).

    I'm planning on a human melee artificer with cannith dragonmarks and an epic chimaera's fang. Not sure it will work but it will be fun and a step towards completionist.

    Not sure I understand the point of the arty splash; is it just to equip rune arms?

    Yessir, to get rune arm bonuses to main hand attacks. Far as i can see you get full rune arm bonuses to main hand at arti lev 2. Just cant actually use the rune arm itself all that well, so its just mearly there to add all its goodies to your axe. figure the later level rune armed (tovin's ect) add enough to the main hand that it overcomes2 rogue level's SA, and adds that bit of flavor to the flavor build ..reason that sparked this idea was rune arms apply all their procs not just to main hits but glancing blows as well, where a rogue's SA only applies to the main hits.
