Just providing a heads up to all that I will be retiring from the game permanently within the next week or so - long enough to transition over Guild business.

A little about Economy of Scale (EoS):

Economy of Scale has been around on Khyber about 15 months. I formed the Guild around the time that the renown system was put into place. We are a non-exclusive guild built around the concept that everyone should have access to guild ships and other amenities - regardless of being a casual player or not. We do not do many Guild-only runs, but can be found PUGging either solo or with a small band of EoS.

Our players run the gambit from newbies to veterans, and although we are not the most active in terms of running together or general communications (we are very laissez-faire) we are in general a good bunch of guys and gals. I have never once received a complaint about any member of the guild either internally or externally.

We are currently at Level 57, and hope to approach 60 close to the new year. We have about 60-70 active accounts, but since we have many casual players the actual size is much larger. We accept anyone that wants to join (barring extreme circumstances) and until we reach Guild limit, we have no plans to remove players for inactivity.

You can find out more about us here

I'm writing here not just to let people know about our great little casual guild, but to also let everyone know that since I am leaving the game, the leadership of the guild will soon be changing. I will post back to this thread when everything is sorted so that the community (as well as internal guild) is aware of the changes.

Since the guild leader and officers are mostly for basic administrative purposes, the spirit of the guild should be carried out by all members and the leader alone should not dictate the direction of the guild.

If you are interested in joining, or even perhaps interested in contributing to the leadership of the guild, please feel free to message me here or in game (Ilana).
