Problem with hirelings

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this. I was just wondering if anyone else is having a problem with cleric hirelings.

I don't expect perfection with them. I really don't. At least they aren't running off, grabbing a bunch of aggro and bringing mobs back to us any more. I can see they are making an effort to improve the hirelings ai.

I don't know if I should report a bug with this or not. It could be it's already reported. I haven't seen any threads mentioning it though.

Recently the cleric hireling just isn't healing at times. I've come to expect this now and then, maybe they are fighting, lose concentration or whatever. But laerathor, level 7 hireling just stood there during bargain of blood, he wasn't doing anything. He wasn't fighting, wasn't being attacked, he wasn't healing either. Had to tell him to heal me. That's ok, came close to 0, but not quite. I checked his setting the times when he did this. I didn't accidentally make him passive or anything. His guard icon was lit up. I read something about clicking active icon and guard again, would reset them to where they wouldn't run off so much while they were being suicidal before the last update. I tried this, but he did it again, only this time i didn't get him to heal me quick enough and toon died.

Thing is, it's hard to tell when to be ready for this. If it's all the time i could adjust. But most of the time he heals fine.

So, I was just wondering if anybody else is experiencing this? It's not easy getting a group going during the times i usually play. I end up soloing a lot. Thing is hireling is a lot cheaper platinum wise than potions in general. I'd hate to give up playing cause the hirelings aren't reliable enough.
