MyDDO shows totally wrong character

Reproducably.

To reproduce:

From my MyDDO account page here, click on my level 16 pally "Eliam of Ghallanda" - but end up with a totally different Eliam.
Also Ghallanda it seems, but different player (not "Jontas" any more), different class, different level...

Eh?

Whom must I shake to look into this?

Someone had the name Eliam before you and deleted their character but MyDDO hasn't updated (notice it says the character was last updated August of 2010). MyDDO is generally broken if it works for you great if it's not working there's really nothing you can do.

Apologies for the late reply.

Posting in this forum and reporting this bug on the Submit a Bug page is the correct course of action to get this resolved.

From now on, I'd like to ask all players experiencing this exact bug post a reply in this thread (as well as file a Bug Report) to keep it all in one place.

I'm not sure if this is the place to report it, but I've been constantly told my character Lirra on Thelanis is archived for the two years I've been playing- there are two listings for a Lirra on thelanis and neither works so I suspect the issues may be similarly releated to an old archived, character whose reference was not cleared out. I would dearly love to have the fix come in- I reported it a while ago and after a year of waiting patienty for someone to do something about it, if someone can go into the system manually that'd be dandy..

On the list of characters in MyDDO, it shows two, and both link to a character that is not mine (ie, probably an old deleted character).

before i knew any better i tried a few builds, then deleted some and created new toons with same names.
all on Thelanis.

i finally gave up and purchased a name change from ddo store

for one of them and he is ok now.

but this one is still wrong Kneebone

I deleted this character in May. It still shows up in my list, and still shows up for Lottos. >.< I just want it gone.

Also, guild rosters in general seem like they don't update properly. I've noticed in The Silent Accord the guild roster will *add* new members, but will not subtract from members that leave. One of my own toons, Kiarnan, is no longer in that guild, but it still shows up in the roster. But when you click on his name, lo and behold - Eternal Wrath.
