Hi, I decided to just buy artificer instead of buying the new pack and trying to unlock...
Can anybody experienced with arties give some tips on feats?

    Human Artificer: 13 Feats

    Toughness
    Augment Summoning
    Construct Essence
    Point Blank Shot
    Rapid Shot
    Precise Shot
    Improved Precise Shot
    Improved Crit: Ranged
    Maximize
    3x Dragonmark

Are these ok? What should I pick as last feat?

which enhancements are good for the pet (have barrelbreaker, toughness and trip atm)

On Thelanis: Makkuroi - Heroic+Epic completionist, 30+ Past lives - Guild: Zeugen der Dreizehn

    This! ^^

I would exchange Construct Essence for Empower (plus take the force enhancement lines) for max BB damage and carnage. Don't worry about self healing; heal scrolls works quite nice for a human arty.

You might want to concider quicken... at least for the flame towers while levelling up until you hit the Vale, and exchange that feat then.

SF: UMD is also useful... at least until you get a nice and stable UMD score.

Evocation focus might be a little useful... or 3 past sorcerer lifes.

    Hey,

You haven't mentioned any of your stats, I am assuming you are creating an INT/Ranged arti. I wanted something similar and found a build on the forums for a Human Crafting/Hagglebot and have been enjoying it quite a bit. I would either suggest getting your crafting levels up early on, or playing out full life, TRing and then getting crafting at end. Mainly, it is easier and less mat heavy to craft all your lower levels, then get the 10 lvl bump and have to start using higher lvl mats off the start. I would suggest you take a peak at the build below, if you have any questions let me know

I want to second this...finding construct essence to be very lackluster after hitting the umd for reliable heal scroll use. Max force enhancements seems to make actually using the repeater to shoot at targets you're kiting just something to do while kiting through the blade barrier rather than a real contribution.

    I'd add weapon focus: ranged.

I've not missed quicken. The old blade barrier casting time is about the same, if not exactly the same, as the turret casting time, so having adapted long ago to being around 11th level as a cleric and not having quicken...well, dropping a turret just takes more planning without quicken. Those concentration rolls should generally be easier to make if you keep stoneskin/blur and appropriate resists up.
