I've been googling a bit and can't seem to find a reliable source for this, but I recently got a few "reward cards" with turbine points on them. I redeemed one of them earlier today (250 TP on the card) and several hours later I am still listed as F2P. Is this because of the type of card I have, the low amount redeemed at this point, or does it just take Turbine a little while (more than ~12 hours) to process/change my account? I've also heard a few people say if it doesn't change quickly, I need to submit a ticket..is this true, or will being patient work just as well?

This also happened to me. This is what I did, I created a ticket through http://support.turbine.com.
They upgraded my f2p account to premium. You should try that one out.

If it is a purchased Turbine Points Card, it should upgrade your account to Premium, as you have spent money on the game. However, promotional point cards that players don't pay for won't upgrade the subscription to Premium. To upgrade to Premium, money must be spent on the game in some way.
