But it's not on a toon with good reflex saves and blue-bar hjealing. Can't look just at DPS in terms of being over-powered.

To take full advantage of either tempest or AA requires alot more than that. You can be really good at one or the other, or average at both.

Preaching to the choir bud. I was building and defending survivability builds back when most everyone else was full ****** DPS and chiding those who made small damage sacrifices in order to build toons that could live through more.

People dont look at survivability in this game and use the word OP to describe it though.

a 12 fighter 6 ranger 2 monk can have high refelx. Shos hell aint healing itself with blue bar though.

But AA is kinda expensive regarding APs, my Ranger 15/rogue 3/Monk 2 is SO AP tight right now there's no way i could take tempest even if i has the feats as there's already important APs i couldn't take, none to spare.

Sort of off-topic . . . people have been building all of these zero-defense DPS-apes for years and now people are wondering why melees can't find healers in pug raids. kinda funny really.

I have a Fighter 12/Ranger 6/Monk 2 as well and I can tell you right now the reflex isn't as good and his self-hjealing is meh. He's even a dorf with the bonuses to saves against spells. it's better than an 18/2 but doesn't come close to that of a ranger. Granted the extra HP picks up the slack.

I wouldnt want to see a PrE tied exclusively to store purchase. But having it unlockable via a favor reward would be fine.

For example, just say that at the same time that Turbine released the Gianthold pack, they also included the Red Dragon Disciple PrE. But as one of the requirements, it listed the Draconic vitality you get for the 150 favor reward.

As of right now, I know a few people that got the 150 House C. Mostly those that have to have it all, OCD types, or a VIP interested in not paying for arti. But for the most part, I've seen very very few bothering with it. Now imagine if 150 House C favor gave you a fluff feat that enabled you to unlock the WF Juggernaught PrE on that character.

You'd have alot of people moaning over the cost of the pack. But I bet they could do away with this daily token nonsense and get significantly more sales.

    I wouldn't mind seeing that.

See, I'd rather the DD "stance" be a "boost" so it stacks w/ DoS, just so a dwarven DoS can be pretty rocking.
Ghallanda - now with fewer alts and more ghostbane
