Evocation Caster Level Bonus and Rune Arms?

Anyone know if items with Evocation Caster Level Bonus (for example, the Abishai set) affects the damage dice for Rune Arm blasts? This is probably pretty tricky to test out -- it would be easiest on someone with the Epic Abishai set and only a couple splash levels of Artificer, I think...

Good question! However, is the Rune Arm even considered an Evocation spell? I know it states that the rune arm blast is treated "as if the Artificer is casting a spell through the Rune Arm" but is it actually considered part of a school?
