Epic Shard for Crafting

What DDO needs to did is make epic shard that allows you to add one more prefix and suffix to item. For weapons and armor not only dose it add other prefix and suffix but it turns weapon or armor into a + 6 . So if you start with + 5 acid burst long sword of bleeding you can turn it into a +6 fire acid burst long sword of pure good bleeding. How DDO can do this is by add universal epic scroll , shard and seal to quest they ready have. So a universal scroll could drop in The Last Stand or Chains of Flame or any other quest.

Cannith Crafting has replaced a ton of items already, and there are more than enough epics to go around. I wouldn't like to see people craft their own epics, or items so close to epics.

how about a middle ground ?

make a recipe that uses epic tokens to allow an item to use different item's prefix\suffix.
so you can for example make a clever belt or an electric absorb boots (non conductive?!?).

it will not add a power but allow more flexing in the crafting.

there are very few prefix i can add to belts or goggles .and at high using a +6 instead of +10 item make you feel like your not at your limit.
