the models already exist, the race is intriguing, and with all the new demons around due to expansion, it stands to reason that there is a bit of sweet loving (more likely rape) going on.

naw you gotta go with Lesser Aasimar and Tiefling....most of the fun of the greater versions (loose outsider status and element resistance) with the greatness that is LA+0 which in DDO terms means 32pt. enabled

    Catfolk
    From Races of the Wild.

Although I like Gnome, Kobold, and Kalashtar as well. I feel Kalashtar would be more complicated to implement. Kobolds would have confusing dialogue and/or have to have new implemented dialogue wiht the other kobolds (i.e. challenges). Gnome... well I don't have a reason for no gnome

Anyway, Catfolk, different, doesn't conflict with the any other monster races (well... rakshasa are different...) Also easy to implement and would make good rangers

    1. Aasimar
    2. Tiefling
    3. Kalashar
    4. Catfolk
    5. Changeling

    In order of preference.

However, the 1st and foremost should be: Work more (much more) on Elves, Drow, Halfing and Dwarves to make them more interesting and more different from human.

Its the same with brand new classes, how good are Druids and Artificers when Rangers and Pals sucks, and all other classes has 1/2 of PrE at best?

I would have to go with gnomes. I do think that there needs to be more spells for them to use though.

I don't know a lot of the other races that you are talking about. I am old school PNP. However I still liked to create my own PC races before 2.5 even came out. I liked the idea of half ogre or even full ogres.

Thri-Kreen Monks in 4e who focus on their Flurry of Blows ability are wicked powerful and I was glad to see it.

Races I would like to see (first one listed gets my immediate vote, but would like all of them added)

Kalashtar (because then we may see a Psionicist soon!)
    Shifter (complete the eberron races)
Goliath (because well... I just love them!)
Illumians (strange race that could be really fun coming up with enhancement lines for them)

I would also think it may be a good idea to start adding sub-races... like a halfling that gets +2 Cha/-2 Str, or a short WF (like was mentioned earlier), etc... D&D is FILLED with sub-races... why not make use of them? We already have character models, they would probably work just fine, just set up different stats/enhancements for them

    Aasimar
    Tiefling
Gnome (it's a bloody core race after all, no matter how little I like them)
    Githzerai
    And just for fun, Modrons!

I'll admit, Aasimar would cause a spam of clerics, fvs, and paladins.
