    Default Pls forget me MyDDO

Must face it --- usernames (3 of them for some ancient reason..) and passwords for forum - for game - is now a mess I am lost in.

Question is : How can 'I' (in-game char) make contact with my proper DDO-page (that represents 'me' - the char...and 'my' alts...).

As it is now I have been so stupid as asking it to 'remember me', and since that, it only shows some blank stub page linked to wrong/passive username ...

The reason I did that was because i read in a forum post recently that we didnt have to log into forums by username/password each and every time if we accessed them via MyDDO.... not the best of advice in each and any case apparently..

I never use MyDDO for anything but lotteries anyway; but it would be nice if anyone could show me the button that can make MyDDO ACTUALLY remember 'me' - the char that calls on it and thus the page on which it is listed too .

Can't you go to the myddo page. Logout. Then log in again with the account you actually want and click remember me?

I am experiencing the same problem, except that no matter what account that is used to sign in to the game, (even wife and friends that try theirs), MyDDO still links to an account i also accidently clicked on remember me.

I Have tried many things to get the MyDDO to forget me, but the remember password function does not appear to be linked to Ie or firefox as i have disabled both of those and wiped all history of remembered passwords. Is there perhaps another remember passwords area i am unaware of?

And as for clicking a logout button... I have yet to be able to find one. If there is one PLEASE tell me where i have overlooked it. This problem is getting the better of me.

    What about deleting your cookies?

When I go to MyDDO at the very top right of the screen I see

Just tried deleating all the cookies from IE and Firefox. then restarted computer. no luck.

And my issue is not logging into the forums website from IE or Firefox. it's accessing MyDDO from IN GAME. In fact i'm posting this from one of the accounts that is not showing up properly, while in game and under the forums link. And even here in the forums area while in game there is no LOGOUT button, or any way i can see of switching.

Now I can go outside of the game to MyDDO and can log in and out normally. But that doesn't help me at all with my IN GAME linking problem.

I even had a GM try to help me for 45 min and he ended up saying that MyDDO wasn't controllable or fixable by the in game GM it had to be fixed by Forums or turbine support teams....

Thank you for the ideas though. Please don't hesitate to throw out new ones. even ones that may seem silly. right now i'll try anything to make it work.

Ok I missed the in game part. Maybe try this. OUT of game go to MyDDO and the Forums and completely log out do NOT log back in. Clear any cookies you can. Start the game and make sure to hit the home button on the in game browser. Other than that I've got nothing.

Just tried your suggestion Krelar, and it didn't seem to work. Thanks for the idea though.

I think the main issue was the "remember me" button i accidently clicked. i just don't know of any way, short of a dev deleating this account, that i can get it to not sign in....

I am a ViP member, is thish the only place to submit a request for a Dev to look at the issue?

The manage account passwords was a good suggestion. I use Xp so it took me awhile to find it, but i was able to get to the same area, and it was blank. no passwords are currently being stored.

Please keep the ideas comming, i'm sure its just something i have overlooked. Or, at least, i hope it is.

Would the association to myddo be stored in the games user preferences file?
