Have you changed anything lately on your computer, or between your computer and the servers? Things to check:

Firewall software
Virus software
Security preferences
Wireless software, such as a VPN client
Router (either hardware or firmware update)
Cable or DSL modem
ISP

If any of these have changed, start looking there. The fact that you got on eventually sounds like it is not one of the above, but an intermittent drop in ISP service that was fixed by waiting. Have you seen this behavior multiple times or just once?

Just the once. Websites and forum all worked fine at the time (OP was made while client was busy attempting and failing over and over). No clientside changes to system of anykind.
