I don't think I would be playing Skyrim before 2016 (my current PC would explode if I even try to fit that game into it), but I must say I was really disappointed with Morrowind and Oblivion.
The world was very good looking, but felt just... fake. You go to a shop, the shopkeeper is there, staring at a shelf. Go back there one hour later... shopkeeper is still staring at the same shelf. Go there at 2 in the morning, guess what? Shopkeeper still up and staring at that shelf.
Great graphcs, silly NPCs, boring dialogues, fixed respawning monsters, and a very predictable plot. I hope Skyrim is not like that.

Yup - lovely winter holiday for me. The northern lights are beautiful.
Might come back when I'm done. I'm kinda disappointed with the raid nerfs and the value of my possessions being drastically reduced due to another exploit. Gets kinda annoying.

Wasn't too impressed by the graphics. This is a screenshot with everything set to high/ultra: http://truga.hlod.net/tesv/TESV%2020...0-06-02-83.png. Some of the textures could really use a bit higher resolution. Other than that it's not bad.

The game, however, is quite epic. I especially love the whole northern country constant snow concept. I wish I had this much snow where I live

I too cannot wait to play it but am going to hold off until Xmas to get it. I agree with previous comments about how it may offset DDO time, it cant replace it as it is a single player game of an entirely different stripe.

My question to any of you who are playing this on PC is how bad are the controls and menus? This seems to be the only negative I have read about for mouse and keyboarders that it was obviously developed with joystick controls in mind.

That is another reason I am stalling its purchase, to see if any good UI/control mods come out.
