drop renown tokens in challenges

seen a lot of people talking about this in game, and there's a thread on my guild forums about it too. guilds take enough of a hit during the events, can anyone explain why challenges shouldn't drop renown tokens? people grind quests for crafting ings and favour too, don't see what's so different here :/

Especially since challenge already "drop chests" !
Why don't these chests drop the usual guild token.
Or at last, remove guild decay so we can play whatever we want.

This, along with epic token fragments and crafting essences has been requested on lamannia again and again and again and again...
Would sure be nice if Turbine would have listened and actually supported the current game mechanics (guild levels, crafting resource gathering, epic crafting...).
