Default make raid timers visible on toon select screen

Also allow interactions with the "groups" window from the toon screen, so you can apply to groups from that screen and if a toon was accepted it would automatically log that one it

Personally, I think displaying raid timers on the character select screen would have to be done carefully, such that it didn't take over the screen...lol. Also, a lot of people probably wouldn't want to see the feature unless they enabled it, and also, for a toon that is in the process of leveling, you're not able to get into all the raids, so why display the timer for every raid? I think this needs a little more fleshing out.

I do like the idea of being able to interact with the game world while at character selection.

It would be nice to be able to hang out and chat from character selection into a server wide chat channel (maybe call the channel World or something like that) and be able to use the LFM, although they would have to seriously change the way LFM worked, as you would be sending a join request without being actually logged onto a given character, and then it would have to log that toon in. I'm sure it could be done, but would be a pretty tall task, me thinks.

I think it does go hand in hand with D&D though, you have multiple characters, so depending on the adventure, you wanna bring this class or that class, makes perfect sense.

There are several sources of managing raid timers outside the game. I think a better use of resources and dev time would be to have at character selection:

    Shared Bank Access
    Selected Toon Bank Access
At the very least, Guild Chat Window

If possible LFM interaction, it could be based upon the selected character. If you wanted to apply to a LFM for a specific character, you would simply select character...then click apply to LFM.

The memory leak bug with the client is PITA...2 or 3 swaps of characters and you're about done.
    Time to restart client.

I use this one, DDO Game Guide http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=308211
It has more than just raid timers.

Kind of a pain to update raid timers on a guide when you can just check in myddo.

Maybe you should try the program or at the very least read the notes about the program.

Raid Timer Auto Update has arrived. You can now enable the raid timer to auto update your timers via my.ddo.com. Check the settings out to enable it. It'll be listed under "Settings\Options\Auto Raid Timer". There is a help file under "Help\Raid Timer" that can walk you through all the settings.

I find it more of a pain to check raid timers on myddo...to each their own.

Basically what you're saying is, add the option to remove the 3d lobby from the game (also known as public areas). I'd be all for such a setting. Running up to npcs, reading the story, etc for the first time was fun. It was still fun for the 3rd time for some quests. Now it's just a chore. :P
