Default U12 sunder and eagle claw build

Just picked up a +3 sunder +10 wrap for an end reward. I've been looking at crafting a holy/sunder +8 wrap. May do a holy/sunder +6 until I get my crafting skills up. I can craft +6 sunder easily.

I don't have eagle claw attack yet, and with the new U12 DC for it, I'm trying to fit it in. Keeping one GM stance, Void IV, Shintao III, and Vers IV.

Here are two builds doing it. The first build gives me rise of the phoenix which may or may not come in handy.
This second one gives me two more ranks in improved recovery and no phoenix.

Also, I have 1 more AP to spend in both builds that I didn't put anywhere.

I dropped the +2d6 Rogue Dilly in the builds I show. But, if I drop trap sense I can take it on the Phoenix build. This won't work on the Recovery build.

I may actually take the phoenix build even if I lose two levels of improved recovery. At least give it a shot - I can always change it out after 3 days.

I have an improved curse +4 sunder handwrap that works nicely on bosses. After the boss is cursed the sunders almost always proc. It may be worthwhile to craft an improved curse/sunder +8 wrap just for bosses. Don't know if improved curse is craftable...

What purpose do you have going half-elf if you aren't going to make use of the dilly?

Personally, I would just drop void IV. I don't really get why people still take it after the HP nerf in epics. The average DPS increase is truly marginal, too costly, doesn't work on bosses, and flat out less than what you'd get if you just took rogue dill sneak attack.

What HP nerf in epics are you talking about? Void IV proc's everywhere it vorps - epics or not.

As for bosses - I use void IV/light/void III almost all the time in epics - improves to hit. +7 to hit for the melees isn't something to ignore. I can toss in a Smite, FoL, or Jade Strike for the light move.

I can take the rogue dilly I for +2d6 with the phoenix line. The second dilly only gives +1d6 more - nothing to write home about. I'll probably go with the phoenix/rogue dilly build and keep my aggro lower by using sunder more so I don't take aggro from the tank.

I'm already HElf and am not going to TR a second time. I'd never drop Void IV. Its insta-kill on everything but bosses rocks.

What do you use on bosses?

HP of trash mobs were reduced sometime around U9 (U8?) around the same time auto-crits were removed and instakill-ward was removed.

You can do this without void IV.

A extra 1d6 adds almost as much DPS as the the vorpal effect on void IV, without using any Ki. Assume your hitting void on trash mobs at an average HP of 1500. The vorpal effect adds (approximately, not quite) 1500/20 per hit, with a cooldown of 3 seconds = 45 DPS. 1d6 extra SA adds 36 DPS, 54 against a stunned mob.

The comparison is: 36-54 DPS for 4 AP that also works on bosses (rogue dill II) or ~45 DPS for a whopping 28 AP that also DOESN'T work on bosses.

What do you use on bosses?

Void 4 works on the most important 'mobs' in the hardest epic in the game (bottom Power Links in epic LOB), and they have 15000 HP.

When you have the forge buff, Void 4 is +250 DPS in the phase of the raid that most requires high burst DPS.

    That's interesting. I guess I stand corrected.
