Hi,
I currently have a melee twf drow FvS which I want to LR into an evoker FvS build around level 12-13 (when BB kicks in). I enjoy the melee enough, but the lack of AOE and ranged attacks make me think higher level will be a headache. The problem is that this is a Drow so I cannot get all the feats I've seen in most evoker builds (BB, Implosion, that kind of idea).
Usual feats:
Empower
Maximize
Quicken
Heighten
Toughness
Spell Focus: Evocation
Greater Spell Focus: Evocation
Spell Penetration
Greater Spell Penetration
----
I've also seen some people use Extend, they usually don't have the Spell Focus: Evocation or the Spell Penetration options.
Drow will only get 8, so I have to drop one feat. Which one should that be? At first I thought to drop Empower and just keep Maximize, but considering that most people run with Quicken/Maximize/Empower (as well as Heighten and/or Extend)... I'm thinking only having Maximize is stupid. So what should I drop? Is Extend a good idea?!
The stats have very little room for creativity, Str 10, Dex 10, Con 14, Int 10, Wiz 18, Cha 10
(I have access to +4 and +6 items since I have a very high level crafting Artificer to pass things along to the FvS; so Charisma being low level is no problem, will take FvS charisma plus at 20 we get +2 Cha; also going to use a +2 tomes for all stats).
Thank you ahead of time for any advice!
PS: In case this is useful for people. The idea is to solo most content (except for a rogue for traps/locks sometimes), will put points in Concentration and UMD (after +2 tome, some in Jump/Balance maybe). And yet also be useful-ish when wanting to run raids.
