Is there anyway to remove this bar?

The one with the "main menu" "Character sheet" "Inventory panel" "Quest panel" I think you get the idea of the one I am talking about.

I HATE this bar. I put up with it forever. I just can't stand it anymore. I don't need it. I never use it. All it does is take up the little screen space I have(14 inch).

If there is no way to remove it does anyone know a reason why there is none?

it lives under my hot bars normaly. its probly the best bet.

I dragged my mini map over the larger part of it.

I do agree with the OP though. All i care about is the network status icon (the green thing that turns yellow or *o my gosh* red) to see if the lag is me or the server.

This is what I do - it's a shame developers who have cited iD software as inspiration have implemented so little UI flexibility.

Thanks guys! I currently am putting my hotbars over it, it seems to work pretty well. I had it up over the top of my mini map because my mini map couldn't ever go over it.

This is nice advice and got me what I needed, still would be nice to have an option to remove it though. Thanks!
