Forum Username Issue

i have been registered on the forums since february 2006. i used to post now and then but havent in many years.
when i try to log into the forums using my founder username, it cant "validate" my information (even though the founder username is what is listed in my account information). i have tried, quite a lot, to change my password. it sends me emails to reset it, and it never works.
i now have two forum usernames, i can obviously log in using this one (created in 2008, and i do not recall doing this but my guess is i created it to access the forums when my founder username wasnt working), but the reset wont work on the founder username.
how do i gain access to the forums using my original, founder username?
