Thelanis Guilds Thief Warning

I am Catalyn, leader of the Thelanis Guild, Mostly Harmless. Recently we had a player join our guild, just long enough to empty our guild chest on the airship then quit. This happened to another guild as well. I have appealed to the game moderators and to Turbine, but they are unwilling to track down the thief and ban that player. The next best thing is to pass the warning on to other guilds.

Please, be careful about who you recruit. This is the first time I have encountered a thief of this nature in the game, and hopefully it will be the last. Most of us are honorable people, and I am sure that you are as appalled by this as I am. Please take care of your guilds, don't allow this to happen to your people. Since Turbine won't help us to protect ourselves, we need to take whatever steps we can on our own.

We are not even able to identify the alts this player has, because Turbine won't cooperate. If you can find any information on this player, please share it with the rest of us, so we can prevent this thief from continuing to profit from his criminal ways.

I understand your frustration but I think it would be better if you offered PM's of name in-game rather than outting somebody on the forums.

You know this already.

No matter how sure you are, you could be wrong. Even if you are not wrong, is still a bad call to do this.

IBTL. Op you might want to remove the players name from your post. It is a violation of forum rules to name any player within a post. You wanted the moderators to take action against this player, but all that will happen is action being taken against you for this post.
