All bards have fascinate and suggestion, virtuoso using songs for CC and heals, spellsinger using songs for spellpoints and spell level/DC, warchanters using songs for DR/DPS...
I'd like to see the viability of the following songs be adjusted for raid usage;
Fascinate-Suggestion-Enthrall-Song of Capering
Dev's don't want bards mezzing everything in a quest so that they're
the supreme overlords of raiding, this is understandable.
However, to completely remove validity of songs in raids is
uncalled for. Most creatures of most high-end raids are completely
immune to bard songs, why is this.
Why can't we just implement a double-save check for monsters
with effects that supposedly make them immune to songs.
The double-save is already implemented for earth elementals,
however THEY get effected if they fail one, it could be tweaked
so that when on raid enemies they have to fail both of the saves.
Coupled with a double-save feature, a reduction of duration could
also be added, or a limit on duration even. Instead of lasting four
minutes, in an epic raid it may last one minute, or thirty seconds.
In the end what I ask for is validity of bards in raids, and I mean
bard bards, not full on DPS or full on Caster support bards.
