Returning after a year or more

Hi. I wanted to start playing again with my old account. It doesn't show up anywhere that I had an old account on my turbine page. So I asked for a free key and waited 3 days and got it. None of my old toons show up or are archived I guess. Do I need to Bump my status back up to get them unarchieved? Shouldn't they just be red or something and unavailable? When I played this a year ago, I was VIP, bought stuff from the store and what not. I cancelled my sub when I was done with the game. Do I need to start from scratch or is there a way to get it back?

To be able to use your old characters, you would need to regain control of your previous account. The new key lets you set up a new account, but will not have your old characters.
