    Default Fighter/Paladin 14/6 tank build

Hullo! I'm newish to DDO and wanted to get some thoughts on a tank I put together using only a 28pt build (I have no tomes available yet, perhaps soon I'll lay down the money for +2 all but I'm not quite comfortable with that yet). Mostly fighter AC centric with 6 in pally for threat, immunity to fears/diseases, Lay on Hands, occasional Smite etc...

    Progression: 6 fighter/6 paladin/8 fighter.

    My main concerns:

    1) Are 6 levels of pally worth it; would my threat be fine without Divine Righteousness? Also would the low charisma completely murder this build? I don't feel I can afford the points and I'm not sure how useful the extra dmg/abilities versus undead would be. Even considering all these things I feel the trade off of 3 fighter bonus feats is worth it to multiclass in something if not pally.

    2) Would there be items that would cover some of my reasons for multiclassing pally?

    3) I've read a lot about splashing monk into this style build for Evasion, but again I'm worried it's not viable with a 28 pt build. Thoughts?

    4) Lastly how useful would Stunning Blow be at 20? Would fitting Toughness in (for a 2nd time) be a better idea? I'm sure I could finagle that if so.

    Thanks everyone!

    Default

2 levels of monk gets you Evasion and 2 combat-oriented feats (iirc, you can also take toughness as monk feat)

both of which are GOOD THINGS on a tank.

it will also get you extra AC from your Wis modifier, but on a 28 pt build i wouldnt try that (edit: although looking at your build, you could get 3 extra AC just from a +6 wis item if you went that route)

some of the monk stances are gonna be pretty nice in U12 as well. Earth Stance in particular may interest you

Looking through Monk with tank in mind was interesting, but don't you have to shirk fullplate and shield in order to benefit from the stances, insight AC and wis AC? Also do monk stance and combat expertise stack? I feel like splashing into monk would be great for evasion and combat feats, but I'm not sure I'd want to give up massive AC from gear for stance...then again as I mentioned I am new, and I'm probably missing the point ^_^

Ty for input! Looking forward to response
