Pay by phone in DDO web store?

I definitely love the idea of a web store, as I plan on making a static group, which will certainly need to buy packages & rest during its progress. However, there will be some people among them who dont have / are not keen on using credit cards, aka field filling stuff, or simply prefer the fastest thing possible - mobile payment. I would find it the most convenient way to add points to store by: 1. typing on my mobile, 2. get the DDO store code 3. use the code. So the question is: are you planning to enable such service for the international payment through mobile payment operators? Thanks in advance.

At least for the country where I live this service is available through the DDO Store, however it is operated by a third party (Boku) and not Turbine.

Canada and the US has this option available already. not Sure about over sea's? When you click on "Add points" in the ddo store, A option pops up For "Other payment options" Pay by mobile.

It is awfully fast and handy but they really screw you for how many points you get for your money. It would cost a fortune to actually Buy map packs and stuff with this option. You get no bonus points like when you buy with a CC. I Am also not sure if you can buy the gift cards to give to others. In all honesty It is just to expensive with mobile for most players.

Your best bet if you are paranoid about giving your CC info, Is to buy a pre-paid debit card. Mastercard prepaid works fine. Visa prepaid has some problems but nothing that cannot be solved by calling customer support.. At least then you can take advantage of bonus point deals. The mobile gives squat for bonus points and is not worth it in my opinion..

You can also buy specific game point cards from Gamestop, Wallmart and other places i heard, No info needed.. Just type in code and your good to go.


Mobile for some reason is the most expensive way to buy stuff in this game. It is a shame to. I Think if they started to add deals and bonus points , well making it competitive with CC use , they would make a ton of players happy.
